Alyssa Dougherty awarded David Lambert Hunger Fighter Memorial Scholarship

Alyssa Dougherty, a Global Resource Systems and Dietetics student, was awarded the 2018 David Lambert Hunger Fighter Memorial Scholarship during the World Food Prize 2018 Borlaug Dialogue in Des Moines, IA this week. This scholarship honors the work of Iowa State University’s Seed Science Center Distinguished Fellow, David Lambert.

Dougherty was a participant at both the Iowa Youth Institute and Global Youth Institute and went on to serve as a Borlaug-Ruan International Intern in Guatemala. She has since been engaged in a variety of courses and activities through GRS, CALS, and ISU.
