De Carvalho receives Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship.

Amanda De Carvalho, a graduating senior in Global Resource Systems a was awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship. The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program is a grant that provides financial support to undergraduate students studying abroad. Amanda will  be studying abroad in Uganda during the summer of 2018 to complete a service project. She was a member of the EARTH Service-Learning Program in Spring 2016 and is excited to participate in another international experience prior to her Peace Corps Service in Cameroon that will begin in Fall 2018. The scholarship program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and is a national, highly competitive scholarship. Congratulations, Amanda!
