This February, the newly established Global Health and Nutrition Coalition hosted its first meeting. The club’s purpose is “to create a collaborative community of students passionate about global health and nutrition, provide educational opportunities, and support initiatives that address health disparities and promote equitable access to nutrition and healthcare worldwide.”

The coalition members discussed an overview of global health issues, upcoming plans and are committed to promoting better health and nutrition for communities worldwide through education, collaboration, and innovative solutions to pressing challenges.

Students interested in learning more or joining the coalition can contact coalition student president Carly Paul or faculty adviser, Dr. Dorothy Masinde.
