GRS hosts 2001 WFP Laureate

On Tuesday, October 15th, Global Resource Systems welcomed 2001 World Food Prize Laureate Dr. Per Pinstrup-Andersen to speak with GRS students and to give a lecture on campus.  This lecture was part of the 2019 World Food Prize Laureate Lecture series and marks an academic event in our GRS 10th Anniversary celebration during the 2019-2020 academic year. Pinstrup-Andersen’s lecture, titled “Will natural resources have to be degraded to meet future food needs?” drew attendees from multiple disciplines across campus.
