PHOTO: GRS students present their senior projects

On Wednesday, November 28th, 23 Global Resource Systems seniors displayed posters for the GLOBE 401 poster session.  These senior research projects covered topics such as water usage, trade relations, sustainability, food security, and maternal nutrition.  Many posters complemented student’s experiences during their global internships.  A wide range of countries and regions were represented at the session.  Faculty from over a dozen departments and three colleges on campus participated in evaluating the posters.  Dean Acker provided remarks and commended the commitment of Global Resource Systems students in tackling world issues.  A tradition of the GRS program since its inception, presenters were given an Iowa State pen to carry with them into the future.  Congratulations to these seniors graduating this Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semester!  The best of luck in your future endeavors!
