Kiprotich selected as semifinalist in 2018 Food Solutions Challenge

A team of Iowa State University students, including Samuel Kiprotich, graduate research assistant in food science and human nutrition, was selected as semifinalists in the 2018 Food Solutions Challenge. They will present their solution to reduce waste of the root vegetable, cassava, at the Net Impact Accelerator in Oakland, California on April 5-7.

Samuel was a Makerere University student who participated in the ISU-Uganda Program Service-Learning Program in the summer of 2014.
