Valentine’s Day Ice Skating – GLOBE Learning Community

18 students and staff from the GLOBE Learning Community circled the rink for ice skating at the Ames Ice Arena on Valentine’s Day. GRS Peer Mentor Anne Dinges helped plan the event along with three others.

“These events give everyone in the major a chance to get to know each other outside of class,” Dinges said. “It’s a structured time to take a break from the pressure of school and work and enjoy each other’s company.”
