Fork In The Road Facility – Faculty Resources
The EARTH Program exemplifies service learning by immersing students in experiential learning while serving. Intentional activities provide hands-on methods for addressing sustainability in agriculture, natural resources and the environment, and related disciplines, while providing for student reflection.
Faculty Opportunities:
- Conduct collaborative research and outreach programs
- Co-lead and participate in existing student programs
- Develop and lead new student programs when space available
Regional Project Opportunities:
- Cultural learning activities, including hiking
- Team and individual project opportunities
- Community projects with existing and new partners
Potential Program Opportunities (Teaching, Research, Extension)
- Agriculture and food systems of the Virgin Islands & Caribbean region; interdisciplinary
- Natural resources – biomes and ecosystems
