Fork In The Road Facility – What & Where

The Fork In The Road residential facility is located on the island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The U.S. Virgin Islands is located east of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean, between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean. It has been a U.S. territory since 1917 and U.S. Virgin Islanders are U.S. citizens.  Most of the approximately 105,000 residents live on its three major islands of St. Croix, St. John, and St. Thomas.  Major populations live in and around the capital, Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas, and Christiansted on St. Croix.  The tropical climate is moderated by easterly trade winds and the typical rainy season is September through November.  Tourism, trade and services, and rum production are the major economic activities. Agricultural products of fruits, vegetables, sorghum, and cattle are produced in the U.S. Virgin Islands, but most food is imported.
