GRS Students Recognized at Borlaug Poster Competition

Iowa State’s 2016 Normal Borlaug Lecture, “Leading the Fight Against Malnutrition and Hidden Hunger” was held on Monday, October 10th in the Memorial Union Great Hall. 2016 World Food Prize Laureates Howarth Bouis, Maria Andrade, Jan Low, and Robert Mwanga served on a panel and spoke about bridging agriculture and nutrition to improve the health and livelihoods of people around the world.

The lecture was preceded by the 15th Annual Norman Borlaug Lectureship Poster Competition for Graduate and Undergraduate students. GRS students Rachael Barnes, Rebecca Gerdes, and Elizabeth Garzon were all recognized for their outstanding posters. Congratulations, all!
