Gung-ho Globies Earn Recognition for KinoSol Dehydrator

The Gung-ho Globies, a team of five Global Resource Systems students, were recently awarded a $300 cash prize by the Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship in recognition of their development of the KinoSol mobile food dehydrator.  The Gung-ho Globies has been active in the development and presentation of the KinoSol concept for the last six months.  They competed in the Thought for Food Challenge Summit in Portugal and the Innové Project Semi-Finalist Workshop in Minneapolis, and are now considering additional opportunities to showcase the KinoSol prototype.
