Smith named April Young Alum of the Month

Malcolm Smith, Global Resource Systems and Public Service and Administration in Agriculture ’16, was named the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Young Alum of the Month. Malcom currently works at Union Pacific Railroad as an account representative in Omaha, Nebraska. During his time at Iowa State University, Malcolm took advantage of many opportunities abroad including the Dean’s Global Agriculture and Food Leadership Program (Rome), Creating a School Garden Service-Learning Program (Uganda), and spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Hohenheim (Germany). Malcolm now manages small to medium accounts for Union Pacific and helps to identify customer needs and solutions.
