Two GRS students recognized at convocation and commencement

Two Global Resource Systems students will be recognized this week during convocation and undergraduate commencement.

Megan Kemp, senior in Global Resource Systems and Agronomy, minor in Spanish, has been awarded the CALS Council Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion Award.  The Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion award recognizes a student who has fostered an environment to encourage diversity with CALS and ISU.  Kemp will be recognized at the CALS Convocation on Friday, May 10 at 10:00AM in Hilton Coliseum.

Elizabeth Garzon, senior in Global Resource Systems and Environmental Science, will serve as the CALS Student Marshal at the undergraduate commencement ceremony for CALS, the Ivy College of Business and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.  Garzon will be escorted by her mentor Richard Schultz, University Professor of Natural Resource Ecology and Management.  The undergraduate commencement ceremony for CALS will take place on Saturday, May 11 at 9:30AM in Hilton Coliseum.
