Globie Mikayla Sullivan interns at Expo Milano 2015

Globe junior Mikayla Sullivan is serving as a Student Ambassador at Expo Milano 2015.  The theme of the expo is ‘Feed the Planet, Energy for Life.’  An estimated 20 to 30 million visitors from around the world will attend the expo, which runs from May 1 to October 31 in Milan, Italy. Over 140 countries will be providing exhibits and activities along a variety of international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and corporations.

Mikayla will be interning at the USA Pavilion, which is themed ‘American Food 2.0: United to Feed the Planet.’  Mikayla and other US Student Ambassadors will greet and interact with visitors and dignitaries who visit the USA Pavilion as well as take part in cultural events.

Mikayla began online Student Ambassador training in February 2015, arrived in Milan for final preparations on April 20, and will serve until July 31.
