K9’s with Kevin

Over a dozen Global Resource Systems (GRS) students gathered with the department’s favorite furry companions on Saturday, Feb. 10. As part of a new initiative to encourage students, faculty, and staff to get to know one another better, the GLOBE Learning Community is hosting various events this semester, including a meet and greet session with the department’s canine community. Students joined Lecturer Dr. Kevin Duerfeldt, Lecturer Dr. Emily Zimmerman, and Program Assistant Hannah Darr and their dogs Argo, Ginger, and Albus, respectively, for coffee and donuts. Argo, Ginger, and Albus enjoyed the extra attention and the students, faculty, and staff enjoyed getting to know one another better.
