Global Engagement
Dr. Rothschild has traveled widely and conducted research, taught, and presented numerous invited papers in over 50 countries worldwide. He also has been active developing livestock projects in developing countries and has been associated with the Center for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods working in Uganda with families to learn livestock production. From 2011-2012 Dr. Rothschild was a Jefferson Science Fellow working at the US Agency for International Development. Most recently he has served as co-director for the Global Food Security Consortium centered at Iowa State University.
